Caretaker - St Edmund's Site

Caretaker:       37 hrs per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary:             Grade 3/ 4 Point 9 - 15 (£27,269 - £32,654 pro rata)

Dependent on skills and experience

We wish to appoint a hardworking, reliable caretaker to join our hardworking and friendly site management team in the upkeep and maintenance of the St Edmund’s site.  We require our site team members to be enthusiastic members of staff with a ‘can-do’attitude, who are eager and committed to supporting the whole school community.  As well as meeting our job specification, teamwork and flexibility is essential.

The role may require some line management responsibilities.

Our Federation can offer you a supportive working environment where staff well-being is a priority (including access to an employee assistance programme) and CPD is provided to help staff develop in their role.

St Edmund's is federated with St Joseph's Catholic Primary school in Sudbury so whilst the role is primarily at St Edmund's there may occasionally be the need to travel to the St Joseph's site or work additional or changed hours in the case of staff holidays or sickness.

The Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to demonstrate this commitment in every aspect of their work.  The successful candidate will need to undertake a DBS check.
