'An essential part of having open dialogue with your child is to not judge, even if their behaviour or life online isn't what you wanted or expected.' - Top Tips for parents and carers this #SaferInternetDay https://t.co/PMgzL7ImDR https://t.co/ZwAr53AlbD
Talking about our mental health isn't something that comes easily to everyone. Finding alternative ways of connecting with others & sharing our thoughts is so important & is something we've been promoting with our children @StEds_ip33 this week #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek https://t.co/h59C0yI2fC
We've spent time in school opening up discussions about keeping safe online as today was #SaferInternetDay2023 & the theme this year is focused on making space for conversations about life online. Making time to talk to your child at home is essential too https://t.co/bBjw4DwzJf
We're spending time this week thinking about the importance of connection. This year's Children's Mental Health Week theme is 'Let's Connect' & links closely to our daily work & interactions with the children using the @ThriveApproach #childrensmentalhealthweek @Place2Be https://t.co/b3wqTxlrtW
Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help before, during or after this evening's two discos. The children at both events had a great time and will hopefully sleep well (I know the grown-ups certainly will!) Have a lovely weekend. https://t.co/DwPW963zoZ
The EY and KS1 Disco is underway and the dance floor is filling up! https://t.co/BtSoIys2Ko
It was a nail biting time in Y6 today as the first heats of the CrumbleBot Race took place! The children have been writing codes to programme the CrumbleBots & today they tested them out. They will now be refining their codes next week to see if they can improve their performance https://t.co/lEWbzz7zCf
Yesterday the children in Owls class were looking at different food groups and making and tasting a healthy sandwich that they had designed. The children grated cheese and sliced apples, cucumbers and tomatoes. Lots of them were brave and tried a new food for the first time. https://t.co/IZhvmWbRGT

A team of Year 4s had great fun representing the school in a dodgeball tournament earlier this week. Thank you to those of you who took part and represented our school so well. https://t.co/8zVXZvyq9U
Thank you Annie and Sue from @om_hwc for your continued support for our children, staff and families. It was great to have you back in school with us today. #Wellbeing #MentalHealthMatters https://t.co/PRPCxXXnDc
Thank you to the staff and families that donated to the collection we had during Advent. As you can see your act of kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated. https://t.co/n8kwHdyoQI
Thank you to @buryfree for helping us to celebrate and share our recent Ofsted inspection outcome with our local community. We are thankful for all of the effort that is put in by staff, children and families to make our school a great community to be part of. https://t.co/A1NwkbqdNj
Year 1 have been learning about the Sacrament of Baptism in their recent RE lessons. They joined Fr David in church to learn more about the sacrament, in particular the symbolism of the water, Oil of Chrism, white baptismal garments and the baptismal candle. https://t.co/IojJDtoVJf

I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done for our child, we were so worried about the transition because of his additional needs but everything has run so smoothly and he is very happy.

I am so impressed with the way the children are conducting themselves, they are so focussed and want to achieve. Their class teacher has given them so much self-belief.

We ask you to extend our thanks and congratulations to everyone from the school who was involved in the carol service at the Sudbury library. We have known about music at the school right the way through our almost 40 years in Sudbury, so in that sense Saturday’s event was no surprise. In this day and age, however, it is simply glorious to see children performing with their school like this.

A big thank you for making St Edmund's school such a wonderful school for our children to go to.
