Week 9

Hello Noah Class,

We have enjoyed hearing from lots of you this week, either by phone, email or Tapestry.  Please keep sending us your photos and videos via Tapestry and The Home Learning email homelearning@st-edmunds.suffolk.sch.uk .  We love seeing what you have been up to and your smiling face, which we miss.

We are continuing with our topic  'How do plants and animals grow?' with re-reading 'The Little Red Hen', and then writing or verbally retelling our own version of the story with new characters and making something different.  This week we are also taking a look at frogs and the story 'The Teeny Weeny Tadpole'. Thinking about we we can do now we are older that we couldn't use to do and looking and the life cycle of a frog.   We would still like you to continue with the regular learning to which you will be familiar with now on the learning chart (it is in black). This regular learning is very important and the need to continuously go over is is import.  As a federation we have signed up to scholastic Learning Zone.  You should have been sent the details of this.  It will allow you access to books within your child's reading range and is a great resource. Don't forget the other useful websites are; www.oxfordowl.co.uk and www.readingeggs.co.uk for reading and www.themathsfactor.co.uk for maths activities. Also the new websites Oak curriculum with lots of resources and bbc bitesize have produced more too.  If you have any worries or queries please get in touch via home learning and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We will continue to check in to see any updates.

Wishing you all good health

Love

Miss Mortimer, Mrs Ruane, Mrs Shaw, Mrs Oldershaw and Mrs Mumford
