Cognition and Learning

Support for learning difficulties may be required when children and young people learn at a slower pace than their peers, even with appropriate differentiation. Learning difficulties cover a wide range of needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties through to profound and multiple learning difficulties, in addition to specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia).

Where interventions do not seem to be having impact and / or we need support understanding a child's needs we can access The County Inclusive Support Service (CISS), Dyslexia Outreach Service or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academy Trust (SENDAT)
